At The Maximalist, we want you to love your purchase! But we totally get that sometimes things don’t work out. No worries—we’re here to make returns as easy as possible.

You’ve Got 15 Days

If you need to return something, you have 15 days from the day it arrives to let us know. We want to make sure you’re completely happy with your purchase!

What Can Be Returned?

We accept returns for:
✅ Items that arrived damaged
✅ Wrong item received
✅ If it just wasn’t what you expected

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
✔️ In the same condition you got it
✔️ Unworn and unused
✔️ Still have the original tags
✔️ In its original packaging
✔️ Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Who Covers Return Shipping?

  • If we made a mistake (sent the wrong item, or it arrived damaged), we’ll cover the return shipping cost and send you a prepaid shipping label.
  • If you’re returning the item just because it wasn’t quite right for you, you’ll be responsible for the return shipping.

How to Start a Return

Just send us a quick email at Support@ShoptheMaximalist.com with your order details. If your return is approved, we’ll send you instructions (and a shipping label if applicable). Please note, returns sent without prior approval won’t be accepted.

Damaged or Wrong Item? We’ll Fix It!

We do our best to send you perfect products, but if something arrives damaged or incorrect, please check your order as soon as it arrives and let us know right away so we can make it right.

Need an Exchange?

The easiest way to get a different item is to return what you have and place a new order for the one you want.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll send you an update. If it’s approved, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. (Heads up—your bank may take a little extra time to process it on their end.)
